Hey there. Thanks for stopping by! We are a husband/ wife team, who love each other and love uniting folks who love each other. :-) 

We founded Elopers in 2015 after relentlessly looking for elopement options in Western Maryland for our wedding day.  After not finding anything, we set out to create intimate wedding and elopement options for local couples. Today, we serve couples from all over DC, Maryland, Virginia West Virginia, and beyond! 

More personally, we are both North Carolina natives and currently reside in Jefferson County, West Virginia with our two youngest children.

Jen is a professional wedding planner & coordinator with over a decade of experience in the industry.  She has numerous event planning certifications and a background in Psychology & Sociology from Winston-Salem State University.  Major is an award-winning ordained wedding minister and West Virginia /Virginia notary. He is the owner of Notaries By Major. They both enjoy meeting new couples and working with them to create great memories on their wedding day!
